Guidelines for Editors
Editors expected contribution
Primarily, an Editor is expected to review manuscripts received to ensure that they meet the journal's scope and standards. The Editor is also expected to edit and review every manuscript after the peer-review process is done. The Editor has the responsibility to ensure that every manuscript is revised as recommended by the peer reviewers. The Editor will ensure that accepted manuscripts are technically and grammatically sound, meeting the journal formatting style, readable, original, not plagiarised, and other necessary scientific rigour.
Reviewers selection process
Peer reviewers are selected by the editor, who screens any submitted manuscript based on scope and quality. If the screening is passed, experts whose research interests match the manuscript's subject area are picked from searching references or keywords, consulting databases, personal networks, and using author suggestions.
Reviewers' selection prioritizes subject expertise, impartiality, and credibility in promoting quality, and the editors ensure that selected reviewers are free from conflicts of interest.
