About the Journal

AJTFS is an interdisciplinary and quality peer-reviewed open-access journal. All papers submitted to AJTFS are double-blinded peer-reviewed by experts in the area of Theatre and Film. AJTFS only accepts and publishes original articles which are not under consideration or review in any journal, conference, or book.

AJTFS aims to offer eminent and experienced scholars and young researchers the to share knowledge and research through open access in the growing field of Theatre and Film Studies. AJTFS welcome both theoretical, practical, and empirical paper submission covering an array of areas such as Drama, Technical theatre, Music, Dance, Theatre for development, Arts and media management, Film directing, Documentary, Cinematography, Video editing, Film sound, Production design, Animation, Video and film making, Performing art and many more.

AJTFS publishes journal papers biannually (twice a year – two issues per year). Our audience includes a cohort of researchers, students, practitioners, and industry players in theatre and film studies.
